Festival success

The Lost Princess hits the big screen again. This time it will be screening as part of the Co-operative Young Film Makers Festival held at the National Media Museum in Bradford on Thursday 9th October 2008 at 12.00 Noon, Screening One.

Expect some of the cast and crew to turn up for this public screening. The success of the film is a testament to the enthusiasm and talent of Goole's young people. While the Co-op film festival will be screening a specially edited version of the film, the end result only goes a small way towards demonstrating what fun the making process was.

The Lost Princess was funded by Heritage Lottery
and Goole Town Council working with Duchy Parade Films.
Fiona E Spiers, Regional Manager Yorkshire and the Humber Lottery
with Peter M. Kershaw from Duchy besides one of HLF's banners,
the top of which depicsts a scene from The Lost Princess.

New site going live

Last week on BBC Radio York we announced the launch of the new website for the Coiner project www.thelastcoinermovie.com Later the site will follow the development of the feature film but for now, the focus is on finance. However, the site also includes an innovative approach to film funding with a dramatic new game Coins & Nooses targeted at players and sponsors. The game has been devised and developed by Kooji Creative working with Duchy Parade Films and once wheeled out to the wider world is bound to cause a stir.
