Duchy Parade Films has joined in partnership with Square Chapel Centre for the Arts in Halifax and Calderdale Council to pitch for the heritage based feature - The Last Coiner. Director Peter Kershaw said, "This is the exciting news a number of people have been waiting to hear we are finally in a position with our partners to go forward with our funding ambitions." The film is hoped to be produced using a mix of private and public funding. "Most excitingly it means we can look to shoot in Yorkshire" Peter added.
